Durante una passeggiata, ho avuto il piacere di incontrare questa bella piantina, che si diffonde in una popolazione a macchia quando trova l'habitat di suo gusto (umidi muretti a secco, rocce, rovine) come in queste foto che ho scattato.
E' bellissimo poter contattare la bellezza della vita, riconoscendo ciò che ci circonda nella natura, e ricordarsi che c'è tanto amore e tanta bellezza, nel campo unificato. Nella natura ci sono infinite forme e infinite possibilità di vita, questa è saggezza, il grande dono per noi.
E' una crassulacea, quindi tra le specie succulenti che tendono ad accumulare acqua nelle foglie e nei fusti.
Il nome "ombelico" deriva dal fatto che la foglia ha una forma tonda e concava, senza peli, liscia, donando una sensazione di bellezza e salute.
Dal suo calice si può bere acqua di rugiada e mangiandolo ci si disseta e ci si rinfresca. Infatti la pianta è molto idratante e succosa, contiene vitamina C, si può consumare fresca in insalata, possibilmente prima del piatto di portata (per favorire la digestione)! Può essere usata sulla pelle, tritata x ustioni e pruriti.
Il nome specifico "Rupestris
" è dovuto alla sua relazione con l'ambiente, cioè ama vegetare sulle rupi, i muretti di pietra.
L' ombelico di Venere, è un' erba dedicata alla dea della bellezza, come si può evincere suo dal nome. Erbe veneree, così definite in quanto spesso venivano custodite dalle guaritrici, oppure valutate per i loro effetti afrodisiaci, concezionali e cosmetici.
Un tempo veniva usato come diuretico, l'ombelico di Venere , nel XIX secolo, secondo alcuni botanici sarebbe stato efficace nell'epilessia, ribelle ad altri trattamenti.
La sua foglia tagliata a metà , veniva usata per segnare a misura i tessuti fatti al telaio; l'uso della pianta era dovuto ad una particolare proprietà , la foglia lacerata segnava il tessuto ma quando veniva lavato, la traccia spariva come per magia. Per uso esterno veniva usato per i geloni, vesciche e vene, ferite e piaghe; l'azione topica si manifesta quindi in gran misura con un'azione lenitiva e rigenerante.
L'ombelico di Venere contiene sali minerali tra i quali calcio, potassio silicio, ferro, tannino, trimetilamina.
Nei miei luoghi, quelli che frequento spesso, anche con le persone che seguono i miei corsi di Riconoscimento erbe spontanee, mi capita di incontrarla e mi stupisco di come abbellisce il muro con la sua presenza a foglie tondeggianti e carnosette. Navelwort rock. Beauty is always present!
During a walking, I met with great pleasure, this lovely plant, which spread itself in a spot population, when she finds a good place to grow up (wet dry stones, walls and ruins) like in the pictures that i took. It is wonderful to be able to contact the beauty of life, recognizing what surrounds us in nature, and remembering that there is so much love and so much beauty in the unified field. In nature there are infinite forms and infinite possibilities of life, this is wisdom, the great gift for us.
She is a crasulaceae, therefore in a succulent species which trend to accumulate water in the leaves and stems.
The name "Navelwort" comes from the fact the leaves have a round and concave shape, hairless, smooth, giving a beauty and healthy sensation.
From its calice you can drink dew and eating it you can quench your thirsty and refresh. That's why the plant is moisturaising and juicy, it contains Vitamine C, you can use in fresh salads, better before the main dish (to promote a sane disgestion). It can be used on the skin, chopped for burns and hitching.
The specific name "rupestris" is due with the to its relationship with the environment, that is, he loves to vegetate on the cliffs, the stone walls. The navelwort is a herb dedicated to the goddess of beauty, as can be deduced from its name.
Venereal herbs, so defined as they were often kept by healers, or valued for their aphrodisiac, conceptional and cosmetic effects. It was once used as a diuretic, the navel of Venus, in the nineteenth century, according to some botanists it would have been effective in epilepsy, rebellious to other treatments. Its leaf cut in half was used to mark the fabrics made to the loom to size; the use of the plant was due to a particular property, the torn leaf marked the fabric but when it was washed, the trace disappeared as if by magic. For external use it was used for chilblains, blisters and veins, wounds and sores; the topical action therefore manifests itself to a large extent with a soothing and regenerating action. The navel of Venus contains mineral salts including calcium, potassium, silicon, iron, tannin, trimethylamine. In my places, the ones I often visit, also with the persons that follow my spontaneous herbs recognition course happen to meet her and I am amazed at how she embellishes the wall with her presence of rounded and fleshy leaves.
